LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING. If you’re staying in Luquillo/Playa Fortuna and are looking for somewhere easy to access, with amazing food, great bilingual service, and STRONG drinks, just come here.
Came with my sister around 8pm on a Monday night and were served by the wonderful Kamila. We got the Kan Kan bites and bacalaito to start along with the Tortuga (strong) and Temporal (stronger) cocktails. Off to a great start. We got the paella and the red snapper as our mains, with mofongo instead of the root veggie mash. Absolutely insane. I didn’t speak for a good 10 minutes because I was too busy stuffing my face.

Anyway, this is all to say stop looking for somewhere to eat, trust your gut (and ours) and just go here.

If you’re anywhere near Luquillo, do yourself a favor and eat at SolÉo. The fish tacos are, without question, the best I’ve ever had. The grouper was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and topped with a crisp slaw that brought everything together. Every bite was packed with flavor.

The service was just as impressive. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home.

I’ve had fish tacos in plenty of places over the years, and nothing comes close. They were so good that I’d honestly fly from Pennsylvania to Puerto Rico just to eat them again. That’s not an exaggeration. SolÉo is worth the trip.
